ALWAGHT- Israeli forces have continued their demolitions, now targeting residential neighborhoods in southeastern Khan Younis.
The Gaza Ministry of Health reported seven additional deaths in the past 24 hours, including individuals newly killed, recovered from rubble, or who succumbed to earlier injuries. The overall death toll from the Israeli war on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has reached 68,865, with more than 170,600 wounded. Since the ceasefire on October 11, 2025, there have been 236 deaths, 600 injuries, and over 500 bodies recovered.
Despite the ceasefire, Israeli military actions continue. An Israeli drone strike killed one person in Gaza City’s al-Shujaiya neighborhood, while artillery and gunfire targeted eastern Khan Younis. Israeli forces also carried out home demolitions in residential areas in the southeast of the city.
Officials and resistance groups warn that repeated Israeli violations risk collapsing the fragile ceasefire intended to improve humanitarian conditions. Hamas official Mohammed Nazzal accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of intentionally seeking to undermine the agreement, cautioning that the resistance will respond if the attacks persist.
