ALWAGHT- Israeli police report that the attackers fired on a bus before being killed.
Seven Israeli settlers were killed and at least 21 others injured in a shooting at the Ramot Junction in occupied al-Quds. Eye-witnesses reported that the attackers, one disguised as a police officer, boarded a bus during a traffic jam and opened fire at close range using a makeshift submachine gun and a pistol before being shot dead. Israeli police have blocked roads to al-Quds and are investigating a suspicious object left at the scene.
The attack occurred amid intensified Israeli military operations across the West Bank, including raids, arrests without charges, killings, and home demolitions. Palestinians described the events as a response to what they see as ongoing Israeli aggression and the broader conflict in Gaza, framing it as a “Black Monday” for Israel.
Several Palestinian resistance factions, including Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and the Mujahideen Movement, called the operation a “natural response” to Israeli crimes. They emphasized that it was a message against Israeli actions in Gaza, al-Quds, and the West Bank, urging Palestinians to escalate confrontations and resist occupation efforts while highlighting the operation as part of a growing uprising.
