ALWAGHT- Iranian security forces have apprehended two operatives linked to the Israeli Mossad spy agency in North Khorasan Province.
North Khorasan’s public and revolutionary prosecutor, Javad Ilali, stated on Monday that the province's judiciary is resolute in taking firm action against individuals involved in espionage. He revealed that 15 people are currently being prosecuted for spreading false information and anti-Iranian propaganda during 12 days of Israeli-US aggression.
Last month, three men convicted of working with Mossad and smuggling explosives into Iran for high-profile assassinations were executed. In recent weeks, Iranian authorities have arrested hundreds of Mossad-linked operatives across the country.
Security forces have also shut down numerous covert drone facilities run by Mossad agents. The suspects are accused of plotting drone attacks, manufacturing bombs, spying on military sites, and leaking sensitive intelligence to Israel.
