Iran Condemns NATO Chief’s Bold Praise of US Aggression

ALWAGHT- Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei criticized NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte for congratulating the US president on a recent American military strike against Iran.

Baghaei condemned NATO's Secretary General on X, calling it "disgraceful, despicable, and irresponsible" to praise what he described as a "truly extraordinary" criminal act of aggression against a sovereign nation. He emphasized that those who endorse injustice lack integrity, and those who support crimes are considered complicit.

While the Israeli regime launched its offensive against Iran on June 13, the United States escalated the situation by conducting aerial strikes early Sunday on three nuclear facilities located in Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan.

Iran has affirmed its right to defend its sovereignty, interests, and citizens by all means necessary. The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) condemned the attacks as violations of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and insisted they would not hinder Iran’s peaceful nuclear development.
