ALWAGHT- The Yemeni Armed Forces have launched a new missile strike targeting the Israeli regime, triggering air raid sirens in the northern areas of the Israeli-occupied territories.
Yemeni military spokesman Yahya Saree announced the launch of a hypersonic ballistic missile at Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv on Wednesday, declaring it an act of solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza amid Israel’s ongoing military assault. He claimed the missile successfully hit its target, disrupting air traffic and sending millions into shelters.
Saree stated that the attacks would continue until the Israeli aggression against Gaza ends and the blockade is lifted. He called on other nations to take a stand against what he described as genocide, starvation, and collective punishment inflicted on the Palestinian people. This marked the third missile strike on Ben Gurion Airport in less than 24 hours.
The Israeli military confirmed the attack, saying the missile was intercepted. Yemen began targeting Israel in late 2023 following Israel’s deadly campaign in Gaza, which has killed over 52,900 Palestinians. Since then, hundreds of missile strikes have targeted strategic Israeli sites across the occupied territories.
