ALWAGHT- Majid Takht-Ravanchi, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs and a member of the country's nuclear negotiation team with Washington, disclosed new details about the Iran-US talks.
Majid Takht-Ravanchi, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister, clarified that the country has not yet engaged in detailed discussions on the specifics of uranium enrichment levels and capacity.
He noted that, as a general framework, Iran is willing to consider temporary restrictions on enrichment levels, capacity, and other nuclear aspects as confidence-building measures. However, he emphasized that such actions would only be taken in exchange for the lifting of sanctions and would not be unilateral, but part of mutual steps to demonstrate Iran’s peaceful nuclear intentions.
Takht-Ravanchi also dismissed recent rumors regarding a potential 25-year limit, stating that none of these speculations, including those about timeframes or enrichment percentages, have been confirmed.
