ALWAGHT- Iran and Pakistan's foreign ministers discuss recent regional events and global concerns over a phone call.

The foreign ministers of Iran and Pakistan held a telephone conversation to discuss regional developments and international issues. During the call, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi thanked his Pakistani counterpart for Islamabad's strong support and principled position at the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva, including its call for a vote and its vote against a resolution related to Iran.

Additionally, he expressed gratitude to Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, as well as to the government and people of Pakistan, for their stance.
