Israeli Strikes Kill 70+ in Gaza, Hit Homes and Tent Camps

ALWAGHT- Israeli airstrikes have killed over 70 Palestinians in Gaza since Friday morning, with casualties continuing to rise amid ongoing attacks across the blockaded territory.

Israeli airstrikes across Gaza have killed over 70 people, with the majority of casualties occurring in Gaza City and northern regions. Southern areas like Khan Younis and Rafah were also hit, including a strike that killed a family of ten. In as-Saftawi, northern Gaza, an airstrike killed at least four, including two children.

Despite the violence, Palestinian Christians in Gaza continued subdued Easter gatherings. Meanwhile, in the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces and settlers attacked the town of Biddya, injuring at least one person. Dozens of settlers also raided Jabal al-Urma in Beita, backed by Israeli troops.

Gaza’s Health Ministry reports over 51,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 116,000 wounded since Israel began its war on Gaza on October 7, 2023. Although Israel briefly accepted a ceasefire on January 19, it resumed its bombardment on March 18, reigniting widespread destruction and civilian deaths.
