Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian proposed the formation of an international alliance, primarily involving Muslim countries, to help rebuild Gaza and support the Palestinian people. He reaffirmed Iran's steadfast support for the resistance in Gaza, emphasizing his belief in their eventual victory over the Zionist regime. Pezeshkian commended the significant achievements of the people of Gaza in their struggle, despite the heavy toll of lives lost in their fight for freedom.
A member of Hamas's leadership council expressed appreciation for Iran’s ongoing support of Palestinian resistance groups. The representative noted that while Gaza is currently quiet, the resistance continues to prepare for the eventual liberation of Palestine, having successfully thwarted efforts to eliminate their struggle. He commemorated the over 60,000 martyrs from Gaza, along with Palestinian and Lebanese resistance leaders and commanders, honoring their sacrifices in the fight for freedom.
The Hamas representative also dismissed recent claims made by US and Israeli officials regarding Gaza’s future, stressing that the future of Gaza will be determined by its people through national cooperation among Palestinians. He firmly rejected foreign interference, asserting that the path forward will be shaped by the collective will of the Palestinian population.
