Iranian Air Defense System and S-300 Operate Simultaneously in Military Exercise

ALWAGHT- The Iranian military used the domestically developed Bavar 373 and S-300 air defense missile systems in an exercise to target and destroy high-altitude threats.

On the final day of the second stage of a large-scale military exercise on Wednesday, Iran's air defense systems deployed the Bavar 373 and S-300 missile systems, both integrated into the country's nationwide air defense network. Working together, the two systems successfully detected and intercepted high-altitude targets.

On February 2, the Iranian Ministry of Defense revealed an upgraded version of the Bavar 373 system, which features launcher stations equipped with separate radar units for target detection, tracking, and fire control. This enhancement allows each launcher to operate independently without relying on a central radar system.

In recent years, Iranian military engineers have made significant progress in developing a wide range of domestically produced equipment, ensuring the country's self-sufficiency in defense technologies.
