ALWAGHT- The Leader of the Islamic Revolution appointed Sheikh Naim Qassem, the head of Lebanese Hezbollah, as his representative in Lebanon.
It appears that there has been a significant development regarding the representation of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, in Lebanon. Sheikh Naim Qassem, the Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbollah, has been appointed as the new representative. This role holds considerable importance in shaping the relationship between Iran and Hezbollah, as well as in influencing regional dynamics.
Previously, the position was held by Martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, who played a crucial role in strengthening Hezbollah’s ties with Iran and guiding the group’s political and military strategies. His tenure as the Leader’s representative reflected the deep ideological and strategic alignment between Tehran and Hezbollah.
Sheikh Naim Qassem’s appointment suggests a continuation of this strong alliance. As a key figure in Hezbollah, he has been instrumental in shaping the organization's policies and has long been regarded as a trusted figure within its leadership. His new role as Ayatollah Khamenei’s representative could further solidify Iran’s influence in Lebanon and the broader region.
