ALWAGHT- Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has stated that the ceasefire in the Israeli regime's war against Gaza marks a "great" victory for the resilient people of Palestine and an "irreparable and multifaceted" defeat for the Zionists.
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) hailed the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas as a significant victory for Palestine and a major defeat for Israel. The IRGC stated that the ceasefire, which came after months of violent conflict, was a result of the Palestinian resistance’s unwavering determination, asserting that the Israeli regime failed to achieve its objectives despite its military actions. The statement emphasized that the ceasefire is a symbolic victory of right over wrong, highlighting the strength and perseverance of the Palestinian people.
The ceasefire agreement, mediated by Qatar and Egypt, is set to begin on Sunday and will last for 42 days. It involves a partial withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza, the exchange of Israeli hostages for Palestinian prisoners, and the facilitation of the return of displaced Palestinians to their homes. Additionally, the agreement will allow for the travel of wounded individuals for treatment. The IRGC commended Hamas for successfully imposing the ceasefire, contrasting it with Israel’s failure to achieve its objectives of eliminating Hamas and re-establishing control over Gaza.
Despite the ceasefire, tensions remain high. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has reportedly delayed a cabinet vote on the deal, which includes provisions for the return of Palestinians displaced by Israeli forces. The IRGC warned that the Israeli government, backed by the US and European allies, would face internal criticism and divisions due to the ceasefire. The statement concluded that the ceasefire represents a turning point in the struggle for the liberation of al-Aqsa Mosque and the occupied city of al-Quds.
