ALWAGHT- The foreign ministers of Iran and Oman discussed recent regional developments during a meeting in Tehran.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi met in Tehran on Monday morning.
The two delegations discussed the bilateral relations between Tehran and Muscat, as well as the latest regional developments.
According to the Iranian Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson, the Omani foreign minister is set to meet with several other Iranian political and economic officials during his visit to Tehran.
Iran’s ambassador to Oman stated on Sunday that a new phase of regional cooperation between Iran and its neighbors is set to begin, praising the relationship between Tehran and Muscat as a model of trust and sincerity.
