Qatar Engages Regional Allies in Efforts to Resolve Syria Conflict

ALWAGHT- Qatar's Foreign Ministry spokesperson stated that the nation is consulting with regional allies to resolve the conflicts in Syria.

"We are collaborating with regional partners to explore solutions for ending the conflict in Syria," Qatar's Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Majed bin Mohammed al-Ansari, stated on Tuesday.

The Qatari diplomat provided no additional details regarding the consultations. Meanwhile, foreign-backed militants, led by the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) Takfiri group, launched a surprise offensive in the Aleppo and Idlib countryside last week, capturing several villages and towns before advancing into Aleppo on November 27.

Syria has been mired in foreign-sponsored militancy since March 2011. Damascus has accused Western states and their regional allies of supporting terrorist groups to destabilize the country. These groups aim to obstruct the Syrian government’s efforts to restore security and stability, often operating under the shadow of Israeli aggression.

Israel has consistently backed terrorist factions opposing President Bashar al-Assad's democratically-elected government since the onset of the foreign-sponsored conflict.
