ALWAGHT- Iran's foreign minister warned the UN nuclear chief that any resolution against Iran by the IAEA Board of Governors would prompt a proportional response from Tehran.
In a phone call, Abbas Araqchi and IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi discussed the progress of cooperation between Iran and the IAEA following Grossi’s recent visit to Tehran, as well as developments related to the upcoming November meeting of the IAEA Board of Governors.
Araqchi highlighted the agreements reached during Grossi's visit last week, emphasizing Iran’s goodwill and commitment to strengthening collaboration with the agency.
Addressing the decision by the UK, France, and Germany to propose a resolution critical of Iran, Araqchi warned that if these nations disregard Iran’s constructive approach and pursue unproductive measures by adopting an anti-Iran resolution, Tehran will respond appropriately and proportionally.
Both Araqchi and Grossi reaffirmed their dedication to dialogue and cooperation, aiming to resolve disputes, address other agenda items, and avoid unproductive or confrontational approaches.
