Alwaght- After several days of a heavy propagandistic campaign by Israeli and Western media and forging detailed scenarios that quote so-called informed sources about the fate of the commander of Iran's Quds Force General Esmail Qaani, the top general showed up in funeral of IRGC advisor who was martyred in Lebanon General Abbas Nilforoshan, ending all these ridiculous rumors and leaving the enemy speechless by revealing the lies of their mouthpieces.
Thinking that they have assassinated the battleground commander of the Iran-led Axis of Resistance in their airstrikes on Lebanon, the Israelis, in order to make sure that they are correct, started a propagandistic warfare to force Iran into quickly reacting to the reports of the alleged assassination, something that could help Israeli leaders out of confusion.
A look at the performance of the media outlets of the West and Israel about the situation of General Qaani more than anything gives us a sign about a struggle to collect intelligence about the location of presence of this commander and the expertise of this seasoned commander in the intelligence battles and management of war away from the watch of the enemies.
However, reading the enemies' thought and not playing in the Western-Israeli media game led them to resort to next level of their propaganda and craft stories about security penetration of the orbit of General Qaani.
There are very limited information about General Qaani in the media. He was born on August 8, 1957. General Qaani, who is known as the mastermind of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, has PhD in nuclear energy and pilot certificate for fighter jets from Russia.
General Qaani is a well-known military general among the enemies, and he is known as "the mastermind of the Quds Force" in the US, "the man of Levant" in the Israeli regime, and "the shadow man" in the NATO.
The only interview with him that has been so far published is by Ramz-e-Obour (Password) Magazine in 2015.
According to the interview, he is one of the founding men of Iran's Nasr Khorasan 5 Division in the Saddam's war on Iran in the 1980s.
During the war, the Nasr Khorasan 5 Division played an active role in defending the country and General Qaani personally took part in successful operations like Ashura, Valfajr 8, Karbala 1, Nasr 8, and Karbala 5.
Some non-Iranian sources say that in post-war days, General Qaani took part in fight against drugs cartels on the eastern borders as part of the IRGC missions.
After assassination of General Qassam Soleimani by the US in a drone strike at Baghdad International Airport on January 3, 2020, General Qaani was named new commander of the IRGC's Quds Force. Under his command, Israel was dealt the biggest security and military blow in its history by the resistance forces through Operation Al-Aqsa Storm on October 7, 2023.
