ALWAGHT- Iran's Foreign Minister asserts that achieving genuine peace, stability, and security in the West Asia region relies on Israel's disarmament and the termination of its occupation of Palestine.
Addressing the third Iranian-Arab Dialogue Conference titled "For Cooperation and Interaction" in Tehran, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian emphasized that the people of Palestine have been systematically deprived of their rights. He highlighted the ongoing "unequal war" in Gaza over the past seven months, which further underscores the gravity of the Palestinian issue to the international community.
Amir-Abdollahian pointed out that the Israeli regime has been established on the basis of violating Palestinians' rights, occupation, warmongering, and extremism. He emphasized that Israel lacks the capacity for peaceful coexistence with regional nations.
The highest-ranking Iranian diplomat criticized the United States for offering unwavering support to Israel, enabling the regime to commit crimes and genocide against the Palestinian people.
He emphasized that the US has betrayed its purported principles of advocating peace, democracy, and human rights by providing Israel with full and unconditional backing.
Amir-Abdollahian underscored that lasting peace and stability in Palestine and the wider Arab-Islamic region can only be achieved through the realization of the rights of the Palestinian people.
He reiterated that regional nations, especially the Palestinians, are left with no choice but to persist in their resistance efforts to attain their fundamental rights.
As a proponent of international peace and security, Iran emphasizes the significance of conducting a referendum as a political resolution to the Palestinian predicament and striving for a nuclear-free Middle East, the foreign minister emphasized.
He expressed Iran's complete readiness to collaborate with regional and neighboring nations, as well as members of the Muslim and Arab world.
The Islamic Republic is committed to sparing no effort in advancing the cause of the Palestinian people, he further stated.
