Protests Outside British Embassy in Tehran at Israeli Crimes in Gaza

Alwaght- Iran has called for an international investigation after reports of Israeli troops' appalling crimes including raping and killing the women in Shifa Hospital in Gaza.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran, while strongly condemning the gross violation of international laws and regulations, human rights and international humanitarian rights by the Zionist regime, once again reminds the responsibility of the international community and Islamic states to support the oppressed Palestinian nation, especially the residents and war victims under the siege of the Gaza Strip and calls for effective, decisive and immediate action by the governments and legal and international institutions to stop these crimes and file a criminal case to prosecute the perpetrators and supporters of such human tragedies," Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kan'ani said.

Kan'ani added that there are “horrific reports” indicating that Israeli forces have embarked on torture, rape and massacre of Palestinian women trapped in the hospital.

" This requires the immediate and decisive action of the international community, including the formation of an international research group in order to reveal the extent of the Zionist war crimes in Shifa Hospital," he said.

"Unfortunately, in the past few days, due to the barbaric crimes of the occupation regime, 180 patients, medical staff and Palestinian refugees who were besieged in Shifa Hospital due to blind attacks and preventing the entry of essential food and medical items, have lost their lives, and the remaining people are also subject to gradual death," he added.

On Sunday, a Palestinian woman who was trapped in a building near Shifa Hospital for six days told Aljazeera that Israeli forces raped, kidnapped, executed women, and pulled dead bodies from under the rubble to unleash their dogs on them during their ongoing raid on the hospital.

Also, Israeli forces detained Palestinian journalists and health workers, blindfolded them and stripped them down to their underwear in Al-Shifa Hospital, in northern Gaza, according to eyewitness accounts shared with CNN.

Palestinian reporters and hospital staff described scenes of humiliating interrogations where colleagues had been undressed and left outside in the cold.

The Israeli regime raised and put under siege Shifa Hospital last week under the ruse of Hamas using the medical center for anti-Israeli operations.

Hamas categorically rejected the claims, saying that attack on hospital was meant to spread terror and press the civilians for gains as so far Tel Aviv had failed to make any mentionable achievements during six months of war.
