Dozens Killed in Israeli Shelling on People Waiting for Food Aid

Dozens Killed in Israeli Shelling on People Waiting for Food Aid

Alwaght- Israeli shelling and airstrikes have killed about 30 Palestinians who were waiting for food to be delivered to them in Gaza camps.

The attacks targeted civilians in Nuseirat, Bureij, and Khan Younis camps, according to Aljazeera correspondent.

The attacks are the very latest in a daily Israeli crimes on the Palestinians under heavy bombardment for over five months.

The Israeli regime has been imposing a watertight siege, denying food, medicine, and even water to the Palestinians in Gaza with the aim of forcing them out of the enclave that has been under blockade since 2007.

The UN and world countries has been calling for Israeli officials to allow food to enter to Gaza, but Western-backed Tel Aviv has so far defied the international calls.

However, reports said that food aids reached the largely starved civilians in northern Gaza last night for the first time in weeks.

The increasing alarm over hunger across Gaza has fueled international calls for a cease-fire as the US Egypt and Qatar work to secure a deal between Israel and Hamas for a truce to Israeli war.

Gaza’s health ministry reported yesterday that six children had died from dehydration and malnutrition at the Kamal Adwan and al-Shifa hospitals, while others are in critical condition. More recent reports claim that three more children have died, bringing the death toll at the two hospitals to nine.

The Israeli war of genocide has so far killed over 30,000 and wounded hundreds of thousands, with the hospitals struggling to provide the basic medical services.
