Iraq’s PM to Visit Iran Monday

Alwaght- New Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani is set to visit Iran on Monday, sources familiar with the schedule said. 

He is visiting Iran at the invitation of the Iranian President Sayed Ibrahim Raisi. 

He is planned to meet top Iranian officials to discuss bilateral ties. 

The media office of al-Sudani announced that in this meeting, there will be a discussion and exchange of views on joint cases in the economic and investment fields. 

Security cases are expected to be on the agenda of the visit to the neighboring country. 

This is the third foreign trip by al-Sudani since he took office in mid-Ocrober.
