Saudi Troops Killed, Apache Helicopter Shot Down by Yemeni Forces
Alwaght- Yemeni forces have inflicted yet another blow to Saudi military after shooting down their US-supplied Apache helicopter while killing 13 troops in the kingdom’s Jizan province.
According to Yemen’s al-Masirah TV, the retaliatory attack took place inside Saudi Arabia’s southwestern Jizan province near the border with Yemen on Saturday.
Yemeni forces also seized buildings behind the Hathirah military camp in the region.
In a related development Yemen’s al-Masirah TV also reported on Friday that a senior Saudi commander and two other military staff had been killed in a mine blast in Jizan during clashes with Ansarullah fighters, backed by army units.
Meanwhile Yemen’s news agency Sana reported that Saudi forces launched  four airstrikes against an IDPs camp in Sirwah district in Marib governorate on Saturday.

A local source told Saba that the Saudi aggressors struck a camp for IDPs in Sirwah district with four sorties killing a woman and injured a number of other women, in addition to burning the IDPs.
Saudi Arabia has been striking Yemen for seven months now to restore power to fugitive president Abed Rabbu Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh. The Saudi-led aggression has so far killed at least 6,200 Yemenis, mostly innocent civilians including hundreds of women and children.

Despite Riyadh’s claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah resistance fighters, who are warding off the foreign occupation of their country, Saudi warplanes are indiscriminately targeting residential areas and civilian infrastructures.
