The assassination of an Israeli general, identified as a Mossad operative, in Egypt occurred simultaneously with the assault on Rafah

ALWAGHT- Yesterday's news sources covered the assassination of an Israeli general, identified as a Mossad operative, who allegedly entered Egypt in disguise as a Canadian passport-holder merchant, aiming to collect intelligence and enlist individuals for Mossad.

According to reports, "Ziv Kiefer," an Israeli army general and Mossad operative posing as a merchant, was reportedly killed in Alexandria, Egypt, yesterday, concurrently with the Zionist regime's assault on Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. Allegedly, a young Egyptian in Alexandria fatally wounded this individual, described as both an Israeli army general and a Mossad agent, using a bladed weapon.

After the news broke, an Egyptian group named "The Martyrs of Mohamed Salah" asserted responsibility for the killing of this Israeli individual, claiming he was functioning as a Mossad agent under the guise of a trader.

Mohamed Salah, a 23-year-old Egyptian border guard, was martyred on June 3rd of last year after engaging in a confrontation that resulted in the deaths of three Israeli soldiers near the Egypt border. The group stated that details regarding the identification and activities of "Ziv Kiefer" will be disclosed soon.

Israel's Channel 12 television network verified the Mossad agent's death and reported the killing of an Israeli merchant in Alexandria.

Israel's army radio reported the death of an Israeli citizen in Egypt yesterday evening (Tuesday), with the regime's foreign ministry launching an investigation into the incident.

The Hebrew-language Kan network also announced that the Israeli foreign ministry will conduct an inquiry into the killing of the Israeli citizen.
