ALWAGHT- The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) cautioned that renewed attacks on Iran would provoke a far stronger retaliation and could plunge global energy markets into a severe crisis.
IRGC spokesman Brigadier General Hossein Mohebbi warned that any renewed US military action against Iran would trigger a much stronger response and could cause a severe global energy crisis. He claimed Washington lacked the military capacity to launch another successful conflict, adding that US forces were exhausted and that American bases across the region had been largely rendered inactive.
Mohebbi said Iran’s missile and drone production had continued to expand, with improvements in range, accuracy, and destructive power. He added that the IRGC’s military capabilities had increased significantly and warned that further escalation would reveal previously unused weapons and capabilities.
The IRGC spokesman also called on regional countries to reconsider the presence of US military bases, arguing that they undermined rather than strengthened regional security. He reaffirmed Tehran’s willingness to maintain friendly relations with neighboring states and establish regional security arrangements based on cooperation and local capabilities, while criticizing US policies and urging Americans to question the costs of their government’s military actions.
