YAF Claims Missile and Drone Attacks on Saudi Aramco Sites in Jizan and Yanbu

ALWAGHT- According to the YAF military spokesperson, the naval blockade on Saudi Arabia will continue, while indicating that broader military operations may follow in response to continued aggression.

The Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) said they carried out two major operations targeting Saudi Aramco facilities in Jizan and Yanbu using ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones. YAF spokesperson Brig. Gen. Yahya Saree claimed the strikes achieved their intended objectives.

Saree said the attacks were launched in response to overnight Saudi airstrikes on Hodeidah, Kamaran Island, and other areas, which he described as violations of Yemen's sovereignty. He also claimed Yemeni air defenses confronted Saudi warplanes and prevented further attacks.

The YAF said it would continue resisting Saudi military actions, maintaining that the naval blockade on Saudi Arabia will remain in place. Saree warned that military operations could expand in the coming days, stating that any escalation would be met with a corresponding response.

Officials from the Sanaa government, including the Foreign Ministry and chief negotiator Mohammad Abdul Salam, accused Saudi Arabia of prolonging the 12-year blockade and keeping Sanaa International Airport closed. They warned that continued military action and restrictions on Yemen would not go unanswered and called for the blockade to be lifted.
