Israeli Attacks Leave 16 Dead Across Gaza in the Past 24 Hours

ALWAGHT- Israeli attacks across Gaza killed 16 Palestinians, including children, civilians, and police officers, amid continued violations of the ceasefire agreement by the Israeli occupation.

Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip killed at least 16 Palestinians and injured several others over the past 24 hours, according to local authorities, as military operations continued across the enclave. The casualties included civilians, children, and members of Gaza's police force.

Among the dead were four members of the Abu Qassem family, including a six-year-old girl, in a drone strike on a residential apartment in Deir al-Balah. Two other Palestinians were killed in a separate drone attack southwest of Gaza City.

In northern Gaza, an Israeli strike on a police station in the Jabalia refugee camp killed six police officers, including the station's director, while a civilian woman was also reported killed. Witnesses said the site was struck multiple times after people gathered following the initial attack.

Additional attacks in southern Gaza killed several more people, including a child and individuals involved in humanitarian aid efforts. Gaza authorities said the death toll since the start of the war in October 2023 has risen to 73,233, with 173,707 others reported injured.
