ALWAGHT- The IRGC Aerospace Force commander has pledged continued dedication to the resistance path, standing firm against the domination of what he described as arrogant global powers.
Brigadier General Majid Mousavi emphasized in a televised interview that Iran’s Armed Forces—particularly the IRGC Aerospace Force—consider themselves the standard-bearers of the resistance movement, drawing strength from the unwavering support of the Iranian people. He credited the nation as the foundation of the resistance path and highlighted Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei as the sole authority capable of defining the dignity and status of the Iranian people, whom he described as loyal to the Leader’s guidance.
General Mousavi reiterated the Aerospace Force's commitment to preserving the legacy of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, viewing it as a civilizational responsibility. He pledged that the force would remain dedicated to defending the Revolution with their lives. He also paid tribute to fallen commanders Brigadier General Amir-Ali Hajizadeh and Brigadier General Hassan Tehrani Moghaddam for their pivotal roles in advancing Iran's military capabilities.
He noted that Iran’s Aerospace Force launched more than 22 strategic counterattacks during the recent Israeli aggression, striking key nuclear, military, and industrial sites. These operations, which involved hundreds of missiles and drones, ultimately pressured Israel into requesting a ceasefire just 12 days into the conflict, despite US support. Mousavi concluded by stressing the enduring legacy of sacrifice and resistance left by fallen leaders, a mission now carried by those who continue in their path.
