Alwaght-The Yemeni Army and Ansarullah forces have launched another missile attack at gatherings of enemy Saudi troops in military locations in the Kingdom's Jizan, Asir and Najran provinces on Saturday.
According to military sources, Yemeni forces fired locally-made Zilzal missile on the gatherings in al-Mabkarh, al-Mhrok and al-Bidah sites in Jizan as well as al- Kawia military site. The shelling also targeted other groupings of the Saudis troops in Dukhan Mountain, and al-Twal region, inflicting heavy losses among the enemy ranks and equipment.
This comes after Yemeni Army spokesman Brig. Gen. Sharaf Ghalib Luqman affirmed that the coordinates of the targets that placed by the army and popular forces were set at 100 percent accuracy on the foundations of scientific bases to hit the targets and cause big damage to the enemy military forces.
In a statement, Luqman said that the first operation against King Abdulaziz Airport in Jeddah, which took place on Thursday, was carried out through the accurate utilization of Volcano 1 (Burkan 1) missile and it was successful operation and hit the designated target.
Yemeni Forces Dismiss Claims of Targeting Islamic Sites
The Yemeni spokesman pointed out that reports by the enemy’s media that the missile was intended to another location was no more than a media war to mislead the public opinion. Luqman also affirmed that the army and popular committees' forces are keen, since the onset of the war up to the moment, to avoid attacking civilian areas, let alone the Islamic sanctities, and we will not be driven to such actions.
“It is ridiculous what has been circulated by the aggression’s media that we targeted holy Mecca, the place which we (the Yemeni people) are the most ready to sacrifice our lives and all our possession to protect it,” Luqman said.
Meanwhile, Ansarullah spokesman Mohammed Abdulsalam stressed that the Yemeni people are keen to respect and protect Islamic holy sites than United States agents who are a tool being used by colonial power to defame pure Islam. He strongly dismissed claims that the recent missile attack against Saudi Arabia was aimed at Islam's holiest and most revered site, Mecca, emphasizing that the Saudi regime is restoring to media hype to justify its military aggression against its southern neighbor.
"The Saudi regime should avoid the media vulgarity and instead report the city of Jeddah directly to the north as the actual military target for the Yemeni ballistic missile, Volcano 1 (Burkan 1)," Abdulsalam told Saba on Friday night.
Abdulsalam said that the Saudi regime has been entrenching itself behind the holy places "in a devilish attempt to incite the feelings of Muslims and escape from the horrifying crimes they committed against the Yemeni people."
"There is no a reasonable person on this earth can believe or accept the Saudi media hallucination alleging Mecca was targeted. Mecca is the most dear and precious to the hearts of every Yemeni," Abdulsalam said, adding that "but it's rather the Saudi failure."
Saudis Exploiting Islamic Sanctities
Iran has also called on the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia to stop exploiting Islamic sanctities as a means for their own trivial goals. “The claim about the Yemenis’ missile attack against the holy Mecca is basically ridiculous,” Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi said on Friday.
He urged Saudi and Emirati officials not to resort to such divisive and dangerous propaganda stunts in order to make up for their failed policies and defeats.
The Yemeni nation has acquired the technology to manufacture long range missiles and thus putting to action its firm resolve to defend the country from Saudi-led aggressors.
Yemeni Forces will Never Target Mecca, Medina
By firing a missile into the heart of Saudi Arabia's, Yemeni forces have effectively changed the war strategy. Now, all parts of Saudi Arabia, except the Holy Cities of Mecca and Medina, will not be safe from Yemen's Ansarullah movement missiles. The Saudi capital, Riyadh is now well within range of Ansarullah missiles.
Another important message of the recent success by the Yemeni Army and Ansarullah movement in hitting targets deep inside Saudi Arabia is that, this movement cannot be defeated and the Saudi regime must now accept the fact that, its southern neighbor, Yemen, is now a power to reckon with in the Arabian Peninsula. Long range missiles possessed by Ansarullah point to a change in the balance of military power in the region and the Saudis will have no option but to stop their illegal aggression on the resilient Yemeni nation.
