Alwaght – The already fragile ceasefire in Syria will be extended by two days after the original termination date, Al Masdar News reported.
Russia and the US agreed on a one-week truce in Syria which was imposed on Islamic holiday of Eid al-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) on Monday.
Moscow, however proposed an extension of two days afterwards and now all participating parties have agreed to the proposal.
So the truce, originally to terminate on next Monday, will last until 7 P.M. (Damascus Time) on Wednesday.
Russia is missioned to monitor the ceasefire which it has reported to have been breached 60 times in the first 48 hours by the rebel groups.
