Alwaght- The new ISIS field commander, Gulmurod Khalimov, was formerly a Tajikistan Special Forces colonel who received trainings in a US base.

After tolerating a series of defeats against Iraqi army, ISIS assigned a new filed commander who was formerly trained by US military and Intelligence but later defected Tajikistan to join ISIS in Iraq.

US officials confirm the reports of Khalimov receiving trainings in their bases as a sniper and have labeled him as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist causing major concern for the forces on the field.

The United Nations Security Council Resolutions and al-Qaeda Sanctions Committee further added Khalimov, who is also a fugitive wanted by the Government of Tajikstan, to its sanctions list in February 2016.

He had served as a unit commander in Tajikistan army and received trainings from American advisors and even came to the US on several occasions, interestingly, to receive special counterterrorism training.
