Alwaght- A report by the so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), says a jail and a court belonging to the al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra Front were hit in the town of Maarat al-Numan on Saturday.
A statement said that among the terrorists killed were 23 al-Nusra Front fighters.
Although al-Nusra and ISIS are both Takfiri terrorists, they are fierce rivals and regularly clash in Syria.
Syria's conflict first erupted with anti-government demonstrations in March 2011 but expanded in to a war that has left more than 260,000 people dead.
Meanwhile, Syria’s official news agency SANA reported that the villages of Rweiset al-Qamoua, al-Mgheiriyeh, Hawsh al-Mgheiriyeh, Rweiset Bani Jazi and Kedin were liberated.
Syrian forces have been battling militants, particularly Daesh, on different fronts throughout Syria since March 2011, when the foreign-sponsored militancy began. Over 250,000 people have been killed over the past few years of turmoil.
Russian warplanes have been conducting air strikes against the ISIS terrorist group and other terrorist groups in Syria since September 30 following the request of the government in Damascus. Last November Russian President Vladimir Putin has ruled out claims that Moscow will imminently end its airstrikes against militants in Syria, saying the military action will continue as long as necessary.
