ALWAGHT- Twenty-six Saudi air raids reportedly targeted various areas across Yemen, leaving civilians dead and injured. Brigadier General Yahya Saree said the latest attacks brought the total number of Saudi strikes since the escalation began to 1,085.
Yemeni Armed Forces spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree said Saudi warplanes conducted 26 airstrikes across Taiz, al-Jawf, Marib, Dhamar, and Saada provinces over the past 24 hours. He said F-15s launched from Khamis Mushait Air Base carried out the attacks, killing and injuring dozens of civilians.
Saree said the strikes brought the total number of Saudi airstrikes and missile attacks since the escalation began to 1,085. Earlier, he reported six strikes in Taiz and al-Jawf, including two attacks on a market in Taiz that killed and wounded nearly 50 civilians in an initial toll.
According to Saree, the Saudi aircraft struck Taiz Market at the Mawiya intersection before carrying out four additional attacks in al-Jawf’s Khub wa al-Shaaf district. He condemned the market attack and warned that it would have consequences for Saudi Arabia.
