ALWAGHT- Major General Ali Abdollahi, commander of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, has cautioned regional countries against providing military support to the United States, warning that any nation serving as Washington’s "defensive shield" "will burn in the fire of war."
General Ali Abdollahi, commander of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, warned regional countries against cooperating with the United States, accusing Washington of pursuing a strategy of regional escalation and domination. He urged Muslim states to reconsider their alignment with the US, warning that any country serving as its “defensive shield” would “burn in the fire of war.”
His remarks came amid heightened tensions following the recent 40-day conflict involving Iran, the United States, and Israel. Abdollahi claimed Washington had shown it would stop at nothing to advance its objectives, even at the expense of Muslim countries’ interests and resources.
The commander also accused the US of using the wealth, infrastructure, and strategic assets of regional states to protect its military while bolstering Israel’s security. He said the regional balance of power had shifted in Iran’s favor and alleged that the US and Israel were now seeking to wage future conflicts from behind the territory of Muslim countries, transferring the costs of war onto regional governments.
