Day 285 of Gaza Ceasefire: Israeli Attack Leaves Family of Six Burned to Death

ALWAGHT- Israeli forces continued breaching the Gaza ceasefire, carrying out strikes across the Strip that killed several Palestinians, among them an entire family in a Gaza City apartment.

Israeli forces continued to violate the Gaza ceasefire on its 285th day, with local sources reporting at least 13 Palestinians killed and dozens injured in attacks across the Strip over the past 24 hours. Among the dead were six members of the al-Masri family after their apartment in central Gaza City was struck, triggering a large fire.

Additional strikes killed four people at the Yemen Al-Saeed shelter in Jabalia refugee camp, one person in central Gaza, and three others near the British Hospital in Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis. Another Palestinian later died from wounds sustained in an earlier attack, while several others remain critically injured.

According to Gaza health authorities, more than 1,168 Palestinians have been killed and 3,798 injured since the ceasefire began, with 802 bodies recovered from the rubble. They added that the overall death toll since October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,293, with 173,906 people reported injured.
