ALWAGHT- The Iranian Army has stated that no equipment or vessels intended for use against the Islamic Republic will be allowed to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
Brigadier General Akraminia, spokesperson for the Iranian Army, said the Strait of Hormuz remains under the full control of the Iranian Armed Forces, warning that the US military and its regional partners would face significant challenges operating in the strategic waterway. He also criticized some southern Persian Gulf states for cooperating with the US while continuing to benefit from the strait for trade and oil exports.
Akraminia said such cooperation was "neither fair nor acceptable" and stressed that Iran would continue its military efforts until it achieved full deterrence, arguing that anything less could encourage adversaries to miscalculate and potentially threaten Iranian territory.
