ALWAGHT- Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem vowed on Monday that his group will never withdraw from the fight against Israel, asserting that resistance comes at a lower price than surrender.
Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem praised the group's drone units for "choking the Zionist occupiers," stating that fighters will either remain on the battlefield or achieve martyrdom. He described Hezbollah as confronting a criminal Zionist enemy backed by "American tyrants" and their allies, while fighting as a small, divinely supported group that will secure victory. Qassem rejected any return to pre-March 2 conditions and vowed continued responses to enemy aggression.
Qassem described the Iran-US agreement halting aggression against Lebanon as "the strongest card" for ending the war, thanking Iran and all parties contributing to stopping the aggression. He affirmed that negotiating Lebanon's goals is the state's responsibility, with Hezbollah ready to cooperate on ending violations, liberating occupied areas, and deploying the Lebanese army. However, he called for halting direct negotiations with Israel, arguing they only benefit Israel. Asserting that Lebanon's internal affairs—including weapons and the Resistance—are no outside concern, Qassem concluded that all Hezbollah operations aim to halt aggression and that the group will never leave the battlefield.
