ALWAGHT- The grandson of former US President John F. Kennedy, Jack Schlossberg, has stated that America "lost the war in Iran" and expressed his backing for an arms embargo against the Zionist regime.
At a public debate held at the Stephen Wise Free Synagogue in Manhattan, Schlossberg stated that he would have supported Senator Bernie Sanders' proposal to halt the delivery of $440 million worth of bombs and military gear to the Israeli regime.
Schlossberg argued that opposing the war in Iran means refusing to finance it. Still, he upheld his backing for the "Iron Dome" missile defense system and reiterated his acknowledgment of the Zionist regime as a Jewish state.
Schlossberg is now viewed as a frontrunner to replace retiring Congressman Jerrold Nadler, who represents New York. His remarks come as deepening rifts emerge within American political circles over how much military support the US should provide to the Zionist regime, as well as the wider implications of Washington's Middle East policy.
