ALWAGHT- The head of the Iranian Parliament's Energy Commission has stressed that measures taken against Iranian oil tankers are illegal and incapable of stopping Iran's oil exports.
According to the chairman of the Iranian Parliament's Energy Commission, Hojjatoleslam Mousa Ahmadi, international law prohibits the actions taken against Iranian oil tankers. Speaking to local Iranian media on Saturday, he acknowledged that while such measures might achieve limited results, they fall far short of being able to stop Iran's oil exports.
Ahmadi also confirmed that oil production continues unabated across the country's various fields. He emphasized that the oil ministry and relevant agencies are employing appropriate strategies to minimize or resolve the challenges stemming from illegal US actions.
