ALWAGHT- The Leader of the Islamic Revolution declared that Iran's military success will be followed by defeat of the enemy in the cultural and economic domains as well.
In a Friday message marking Teacher's Day and Labor Day, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei declared that after more than 47 years of struggle and proven military capability, Iran must now defeat its enemies in the economic and cultural arenas. He identified teachers as the most influential link in the cultural battle and workers as among the most effective elements in the economic battle, describing them as the backbone of these two critical fronts.
The Leader emphasized that national progress hinges on "the twin pillars of knowledge and labor." Teachers carry the grave responsibility of shaping the next generation's skills, insight, and identity, while hard work and commitment in the workplace—"as wide as the country itself"—form the pillars of any great success. He warned officials that verbal tributes are insufficient, calling for practical support comparable to the nation's backing of its military forces.
Ayatollah Khamenei urged greater family-school interaction, prioritization of domestically manufactured goods, and appealed to business owners to avoid layoffs where possible, with government support. Reflecting on Iran's emergence as a military power, he expressed hope that by strengthening Iranian-Islamic identity through teachers and prioritizing domestic goods produced by workers, the country would continue marching "toward the peaks of progress and excellence."
