ALWAGHT- Iranian and Saudi foreign ministers stressed the importance of accountability for the Zionist regime and an end to its aggressions, emphasizing the international community’s role in preventing violations and maintaining regional security.
In a telephone call on Sunday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud reviewed bilateral relations and discussed regional and international developments.
The two sides exchanged views on a range of issues concerning Iran–Saudi Arabia relations and ongoing regional matters.
Addressing the situation in southern Yemen, Araghchi stressed the importance of preserving the country’s unity and territorial integrity, as well as the need to implement the agreed roadmap.
Araghchi also condemned the Zionist regime’s aggressions against Lebanon, underscoring the responsibility of the international community—particularly the guarantors of the ceasefire—to halt Israel’s attacks and violations against the Lebanese people.
Prince Faisal, in turn, emphasized the importance of continued regional consultation and cooperation to maintain peace and stability, and highlighted the need to hold the Zionist regime accountable for its actions.
