Thousands Gather in Luxembourg to Protest Israeli Atrocities in Gaza

ALWAGHT- More than 5,000 people marched through Luxembourg City on Sunday, condemning Israel’s continued attack on Gaza and calling for an end to the genocide.

Thousands of demonstrators gathered in Luxembourg’s Kirchberg district before marching to Place Clairefontaine, demanding an end to Israel’s military campaign and calling for lasting peace. The rally, supported by over 40 civil society groups, political parties, and labor unions, urged the Luxembourg government to impose economic sanctions and increase diplomatic pressure on Israel.

Protesters carried banners condemning the ongoing massacres and chanted for justice for Palestinians, reflecting rising global outrage against Israel’s actions in Gaza. The Palestinian Health Ministry reports that the conflict, now in its 723rd day, has resulted in the deaths of over 66,000 people in Gaza.

Since March 18 alone, Israeli attacks have killed more than 13,100 Palestinians and injured over 56,000. The total casualties since October 2023 amount to 66,005 deaths and 168,162 wounded, with many victims still trapped beneath rubble as continuous bombardment hampers rescue efforts.
