ALWAGHT- An Iranian official lauded the nation’s defense strength, cautioning that Israel would face a decisive response to any misstep.
Ramezan Sharif, head of the headquarters commemorating the Palestinian Intifada and International Quds Day, warned on Sunday that Israel would face a “firm response” if it makes a misstep. He emphasized Iran’s self-reliance in national security, stating that the country does not depend on others to defend its homeland.
Sharif marked the second anniversary of Operation al-Aqsa Storm, launched by Palestinian resistance movements, noting that it highlighted Israel’s vulnerabilities and strengthened global attention and support for the Palestinian cause. He praised the resilience of Gaza’s people despite bombings, famine, sanctions, and border closures, and underscored the determination of a new generation of Palestinians to continue resisting occupation.
He claimed that two million Israelis have left the occupied territories in the past two years, putting Israel on the verge of collapse. Sharif also condemned Israel’s ongoing military actions in Gaza, which have killed tens of thousands of Palestinians and injured many more, while highlighting the regime’s acts of aggression against Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Qatar, and Yemen.
