ALWAGHT- Israeli forces intensify West Bank operations, killing Palestinians and demolishing homes amid rising settler violence.
Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have intensified raids across the West Bank, particularly in Jenin, resulting in the deaths of two Palestinian children and injuries to several others. During a military incursion into the Jenin refugee camp, 14-year-old Islam Abdul-Aziz Nouh Majarmeh and 14-year-old Mohammad Sari Alawneh were killed by Israeli fire, while other minors were wounded. Medics reported that IOF opened fire on civilians attempting to retrieve belongings from their homes, and the Palestinian Red Crescent provided emergency treatment to the injured.
In addition to the raids, IOF demolished the family home of Palestinian detainee Thabet Masalma in Beit ‘Awa under allegations of involvement in a previous attack. Clashes during the demolition led to injuries from live fire and tear gas, while Israeli authorities, under Security Minister Israel Katz, imposed civil sanctions including the revocation of 750 work permits and threatened the demolition of “illegal structures” in affected villages, amounting to collective punishment measures.
The operations extended to multiple towns and villages, with Israeli forces conducting house searches, arrests, and security cordons that severely restricted movement, including in Biddu and Qatanna. Meanwhile, Israeli settlers attacked several villages, targeting vehicles with stones, and IOF reinforced security measures in areas following attacks near al-Quds. These coordinated raids involved live ammunition, stun grenades, and intensive tear gas use, further heightening tensions across the West Bank.
