ALWAGHT- The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson firmly denounced the recent actions by the Zionist regime against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, carried out alongside Israeli military operations targeting Lebanon and Syria.
In a statement on Monday, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei condemned what he described as unprecedented crimes by the Israeli regime over the past two days, highlighting the killing of nine members of a doctor’s family in Khan Younis and an airstrike on a Gaza school that left over 50 civilians dead. He labeled the targeting of camps and tents for displaced Palestinians as clear war crimes within a broader colonial and genocidal campaign.
Baghaei criticized the international community’s silence, arguing that global inaction has emboldened Israel to intensify its violations against Palestinians. He accused the Israeli regime of acting without restraint or respect for international law and pointed to recent settler violence and provocations, including the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque and arson attacks in the West Bank.
Calling on the global community, Baghaei urged all nations and international organizations to take action to halt what he described as Israel’s ongoing crimes. He emphasized the legal and moral obligation to prevent the normalization of mass killings, destruction, and occupation, and held Israel’s Western allies—particularly the US, the UK, and certain European countries—directly responsible for enabling these actions.
