ALWAGHT- The Yemeni Armed Forces have launched a series of retaliatory operations in response to continued US aggression, targeting key sites deep within Israeli-occupied territories and striking US warships in the northern Red Sea and the Arabian Sea.
Yemen’s military spokesperson, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced that Yemeni forces carried out retaliatory drone strikes against Israeli military targets in Ashkelon and Eilat, using domestically-made Yaffa and Sammad-1 drones. The operations were in response to ongoing Israeli actions in Gaza and aimed to show solidarity with the Palestinian people under siege.
In a separate offensive, Yemeni naval and drone forces targeted US warships, including the USS Harry S. Truman in the Red Sea and the USS Carl Vinson in the Arabian Sea, using cruise missiles and attack drones. Saree confirmed the strikes were retaliation for continued US military aggression that has resulted in civilian casualties and infrastructure damage in Yemen.
Saree emphasized that these operations will persist and intensify until Israel ends its military campaign in Gaza and lifts the blockade. The Yemeni Armed Forces pledged ongoing support for Palestinians and warned that further attacks will target hostile forces in the Red and Arabian Seas. Their actions have already disrupted Israeli operations, notably shutting down the port of Eilat.
