In New Year’s Message, Leader Urges Increased Investment to Enhance Production

ALWAGHT- In his New Year address, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution, calls on the Iranian government and people to prioritize economic improvement, emphasizing greater investment to enhance production.

Ayatollah Khamenei designated the year 1404 as the “Year of Investment for Production,” urging the government to remove economic barriers and encouraging citizens to boost investments for economic growth. He stressed that both state policies and public participation are essential for strengthening the economy.

Reflecting on the past year’s losses, he honored figures such as President Ebrahim Raisi, who died in a helicopter crash, as well as Iranian advisers in Damascus and senior Hamas and Hezbollah leaders assassinated by Israel. Despite these tragedies, he highlighted the Iranian people's resilience and unity, evident in their massive turnout at Raisi’s funeral.

Acknowledging economic hardships, particularly in the latter half of the year, Ayatollah Khamenei praised the nation's perseverance and solidarity. He also commended Iranians for their generosity in supporting Lebanon and Palestine, emphasizing their commitment to Islamic unity and humanitarian aid.
