ALWAGHT- Israeli settlers and forces have raided the West Bank, attacking Palestinians and their homes.
Israeli settlers, backed by occupation forces, attacked Palestinians in multiple areas of the West Bank, including Wadi Hilweh in East al-Quds and several districts in al-Khalil’s Old City. A 64-year-old Palestinian man, Abdul Aziz al-Shantir, sustained head injuries after settlers stormed his shop, while others threw stones and bottles at Palestinian homes in Wadi al-Hussein.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces raided the village of Nabi Saleh near Ramallah, firing live ammunition at a parked vehicle. The military offensive against the West Bank began on January 21, targeting resistance fighters, further escalating violence in the region.
Since Israel’s war on Gaza began on October 7, 2023, at least 935 Palestinians have been killed and nearly 7,000 injured in the West Bank. The ongoing attacks and raids have displaced at least 40,000 people, marking the largest forced displacement since the 1967 war, according to UNRWA.
