ALWAGHT- Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has reiterated Iran’s dedication to regional diplomacy, stressing that neighboring countries are a primary focus for the Islamic Republic.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi reaffirmed the country’s commitment to regional diplomacy, emphasizing that neighboring nations remain a top priority. During a visit to Muscat, he met with his Omani counterpart, Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, to discuss key bilateral and regional issues, stressing Iran’s dedication to peace and stability through diplomatic efforts.
Araghchi’s visit took place amid rising regional tensions, particularly due to Israel’s US-backed aggression in Gaza, Syria, and Lebanon, as well as the US military buildup in Yemen. Iran has strongly condemned these actions, urging collective resistance from regional Muslim nations against hostile Israeli and American policies.
The Muscat trip followed discussions at a recent OIC meeting in Jeddah, where Iran denounced the Israeli regime’s atrocities and the US’s continued support. Araghchi reiterated Iran’s opposition to the so-called “two-state solution” and reaffirmed Tehran’s steadfast support for Palestinian liberation from Israeli occupation.
