ALWAGHT- Iran inaugurated a Hexafluoride Iridium (IRF6) production line at a nuclear facility in Isfahan province.
Iran has marked a significant milestone in its nuclear technology sector by inaugurating the Hexafluoride Iridium (IRF6) production line at the Shahid Raeisi Nuclear Site (UCF) in Isfahan. The ceremony was attended by Mohammad Eslami, Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), along with senior nuclear industry officials.
The newly established IRF6 production line will facilitate the enrichment and separation of the IR-191 isotope, a crucial element in medical and industrial applications.
With this advancement, Iran joins a select group of nations capable of producing Hexafluoride Iridium (IRF6), enhancing its domestic technological capabilities while paving the way for potential exports.
