ALWAGHT- A commander announced that the Iranian Navy and the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) will deploy four military vessels to the United Arab Emirates for a friendly visit.
Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri, commander of the IRGC Navy, announced on Monday that four military ships from the IRGC and the Iranian Navy will be deployed to the United Arab Emirates for a friendly meeting with the UAE's navy. This marks the first such naval visit to the UAE. Admiral Tangsiri reiterated Iran's stance that regional nations are capable of ensuring their own security without the need for foreign presence.
He also revealed plans for a joint military exercise with Iraq, noting that Iranian naval forces have previously conducted joint exercises with Oman. Additionally, the commander shared that a new multipurpose warship, equipped with drones, will soon join the IRGC Navy's fleet.
