Iran Conducts Naval Exercise in the Sea of Oman

ALWAGHT- Iranian coast guards carried out a maritime exercise named "Mohammad Rasulallah 3" in Sistan and Baluchestan province near the Sea of Oman, focused on strengthening security and improving combat readiness.

The exercise, which commenced on Friday off the coast of Chabahar, was attended by Brigadier General Ahmad Reza Radan, Iran’s police chief, along with several provincial military and police commanders.

Kicking off with the slogan "Empathy and Authority for Security," the drill featured naval units from the southeastern province working in tandem with private vessels in a coordinated display. Officials stated that the exercise’s goals were to maintain the operational readiness of the coast guards, enhance combat capabilities, and foster cooperation among marine units, coastal patrol teams, and border guard forces.

In his speech during the event, General Radan emphasized, "Through powerful measures and timely operations, the armed forces have kept enemies at bay, preventing them from launching any acts of aggression on the sacred soil and waters of the Islamic Republic of Iran." The ceremony also honored the families of martyred coast guards with plaques and gifts as a sign of respect. Routine military exercises are a key part of Iran's strategy, aimed at testing weapons, equipment, and ensuring combat readiness across the country.
